Maryville Courts Retirement Village is firmly es- tablished as one of the pioneers of the industry, innovating concepts and ide- als that have been proven by the test of time. The retirement village was first established in 1983 and is registered under the Charitable Trust Act of 1957. The organization is governed by the Maryville Courts Trust Board who are also the owners of the land, holding it under a Deed of Trust from the Ro- man Catholic Bishop of Christchurch.
