ABOUT HALOGEN AUSTRALIA Halogen is a not-for-profit organisa- tion whose mission is to inspire young people to lead themselves and others well. Founded in 1997, the organisa- tion has been building young leaders through its events and initiatives for close to 20 years. Halogen began by hosting youth development programs that supported the PDHPE syllabus in individual schools around NSW in the 1990’s. During this period, the founding members noticed a deepen- ing need for support of the learning in the area of peer influence and leader- ship.
