However, the pressing need for anti-venom in the face of venomous snake bites spurred a pivotal shift in the park’s focus. Collaborating with the Commonwealth Serum Laboratories, the park embarked on a mission to supply snake venom to produce life-saving anti- venom—a role it still fulfills.
