Business View Oceania - June 2024

EDITOR’S NOTES Although the seasons may be the opposite of their North American cousins, Australia and New Zealand are facing the same sunny forecasts with bright economic prospects, continued business growth, and continuing to boast an array of innovative businesses. Adding to the forecast of clear skies for the region, the construction sector is growing in leaps and bounds, sustainability is on the minds of many, and the parks, hospitality, and recreational sectors remain robust. The timing couldn’t be better for Oceania-based companies as the economy is seeing a little upward momentum. Inflation has begun to level out somewhat and supply chains are starting to normalize after a roller coaster ride over the last few years. For our June issue, Business View Oceania seized the opportunity to interview the teams behind some of the region’s successful companies and organizations that have pivoted to match consumer demand. People will do pretty much anything to ensure that their pets are happy, well taken care of, and healthy. To ensure optimal pet health, Swans Veterinary Services fits the bill. Providing the very best in pet care, we discovered what makes this leading pet clinic tick. With ample construction taking place throughout the region, we grabbed the opportunity to profile UVEX Australia, to get a first-hand look at the products that help keep construction professionals safe on the worksite. With company growth projected moving forward, this business continued to fill an important niche. We also featured the Australian Institute of Building, Wildlife Tourism Australia, and the Zoo and Aquarium Association. Each of these high-profile organizations continues to serve their sector with specialized knowledge and services to ensure continued success in their business sector. With all our profiles we hope that our valued business leaders learn a little something new about their relevant business sector as well as something about key developments within other business sectors that may serve to increase productivity and represent a model to strive for. As we continue to bring you features covering the very best in business, aviation, and municipal developments across the Oceania region, we hope that you have a lucky and prosperous month of May and enjoy all that we bring into view for you!
