From the Editor – August-September 2022

September 9, 2022

Greetings again! Having recently celebrated my 12-month anniversary working with Business View Oceania as its Editor in Chief, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many, many wonderful people I’ve had the pleasure of working with every single day. Over the last year, I’ve connected with countless industry leaders, business owners, organisation heads, and more. The one thing they all have in common? Their passion. I feel truly blessed to have been a part of what we do best here at Business View- connecting executives, entrepreneurs, small business owners, franchisers, and anyone else interested in current industry trends and best practice with the latest industry developments and the inspiring stories behind them. I would also like to thank my colleagues for their dedication and expertise. You all have my gratitude- here’s to many more years of highlighting the very best industry narratives!

Community, Sustainability, and more.

Our issue begins with V2i Realtime for our focus on Professional Services. Established by industry veteran Luke Brannelly, V2i Real Time is a subsidiary of V2i Group, Australia’s visionary player in the development and implementation of 3D visualisation across a wide range of global industries. V2i Realtime uses EPIC’s Unreal Engine in collaboration with Sesium World Terrain and Amazon Web Services to allow clients to walk, fly, measure, and understand their projects and their environments with interactive 3D technology.

Moving into Health and Wellness, we feature the New Zealand Retirement Village Association (RVA), Althorp Village, Highfield Country Estate Retirement Village (Highfield), and MiDispensary. Established in 1989, RVA operates nationwide, working with 120 company members across nearly 410 individual villages towards the continued development of the entire sector. Led by Directors Jane and David Church, and Joanne and Talbot Munro, Althorp Village is your lifestyle destination in the Bay of Plenty. Staff and shareholders are, “… committed to running a village where all residents have a feeling of certainty and security for the future while enjoying the present.”

With a reputation for incredible facilities and activities, Highfield has something to interest anyone and everyone. The village is proudly owned and operated by Waikato locals, featuring 116 two- and three-bedroom villas that combine the benefits and peace of mind of living in a vibrant, engaged community while allowing residents to maintain their independence. MiDispensary have worked tirelessly since their founding in mid-2021 to introduce premium quality, accessible, and affordable medicinal cannabis products and services to the Australian market.

SCL Products and Cabernet Foods conclude this issue, for our Food and Beverage View. Introduced to the New Zealand market nearly two decades ago, SCL Products was formed to provide the local meat industry with radio frequency identification (RFID) tracking and yield management equipment. Their systems help clients quantify data that works to produce high-quality outcomes following the animals’ end of life. Located in Carterton, New Zealand, Cabernet Foods is a premium Beef, Lamb, and Pork supplier committed to producing only the best Guilt-Free Meats. The company proudly connects farmers, processors, retailers, and consumers through their dedication to ethical and environmental best practices.

That’s it from us for August. Be well, stay safe, and as always… Enjoy the Read!
