From the Editor – July-August 2022

July 25, 2022

Greetings, all! I would like to take this opportunity to encourage our audience, whether you’re an executive, entrepreneur, small business owner, franchiser, or other party interested in Oceania’s industry ecosystem, to invest in your own development. Personal and professional investments alike are a great way to build your network, gain new knowledge and skills, improve your self-worth and confidence, and maintain an active involvement in priority areas throughout your life.

Why not get out there and take a course, enter an event or competition, attend a business gathering, or research something you’ve never considered? It might just be the next step to success in your personal or professional journey.

Manufacturing and More

This issue begins with the Australian Smart Communities Association (ASCA), for our focus on the Public Sector. ASCA is Australia’s only peak body representing the interests of smart communities throughout the country. The not-for-profit organisation advocates on behalf of governments to champion the leveraging of technology, data, and innovation in smart communities specific to their local context, and enhance their policy, capacity, and confidence.

Next is our Automotive View. Highlighting this sector for July is Euro City Automotive and Marine (Euro City), AutoTest Products (AutoTest), and HSP 4X4 Accessories (HSP). Established in 2006, Euro City is Napier’s premium dealer for elite automotive and boating brands. The team of almost 100 is led by Managing Director Terry Elmsly, who has been and active member of the industry since just 15 years old. AutoTest is Australia’s only quality accredited roadworthy equipment manufacturer. A locally owned and operated company, AutoTest works cradle to grave, from research and development, investment, in-house design, and engineering through to manufacture and sales. Since their beginnings in the late 2000s, HSP has created an expertly designed range of products to lead the Australian market in efficiency, aesthetics, technology, security, and performance.

Clean My Office Space (CMOS) represents our focus on Facilities and Building Management. Clean My Office Space (CMOS) is your partner in cleanliness, striving to deliver high performance, tailored cleaning services for office and common area environments across the Auckland and Wellington region. An experienced team of over 150 cleaners and 30 office staff, plus senior representatives, CMOS proudly celebrates a decade of operation this year.

Finally, our Health and Hospitals sector features the Australian Medicinal Cannabis Association (ACMA) and Centre for Commercialisation of Regenerative Medicine (CCRM) Australia. The Australian Medicinal Cannabis Association (AMCA) is the peak representative body advocating on behalf of all levels of government for the entire Australian medicinal cannabis ecosystem. CCRM Australia works to accelerate the commercialisation of regenerative medicine therapies and related technologies through the provision of specialist expertise, funding opportunities, and connections between industry stakeholders.

That’s it from us for July. Be well, stay safe, and as always… Enjoy the Read!
