From the Editor – Volume 3 Issue 10

October 24, 2021

‘Tis the Spooky Season, folks! Whether you celebrate a holiday or not this October, take some time to reflect on the importance of a little fun, and perhaps create an opportunity to have just that. Let’s bring our loved ones together, whoever they may be, and spend some time enjoying life’s simpler pleasures.

Sustainably and Socially Focused.

This issue is packed full of fantastic features across our Facilities Management, Equipment Management, Construction View, Clean and Green, and Manufacturing View sectors. We begin with our Facilities Management sector, which highlights Q-Bital Healthcare Solutions and Summit Building Wash Technologies. Q-Bital Healthcare Solutions work with the Australian medical community to provide temporary hospital and clinic facilities to suit any medical requirement. Summit Building Wash Technologies employ cutting-edge technology that cuts cost and increases efficiency for exterior building wash requirements in New Zealand.

Our Equipment Management highlight for this issue is LiftX Limited. Supplying and servicing New Zealand with elevated work platforms, parts, and equipment since 2002, LiftX serve an incredibly wide range of clients and industries across the country. Moving on to our Construction View, we find the Swimming Pool and Spa Association (SPASA) and Horizon Pools. SPASA is the largest association of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, and has been supporting the Australasian swimming pool and spa industry for a decade. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Horizon Pools is one of the most trusted swimming pool and spa builders in the industry. With a plethora of rave reviews and awards to match, Horizon Pools has successfully implemented innovative technology and a flexibility-based approach to deliver stunning swimming pools and spas to clients from all walks of life.

Next in line is our Clean and Green sector. We have two trail-blazing associations to feature here: Responsible Wood (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Australia) and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Australia. Responsible Wood is Australia and New Zealand’s trusted representative for the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC). FSC Australia supports members in Australia and New Zealand to responsibly manage their forests and the many valuable resources they produce.

Finally, we conclude this issue of Business View Oceania with our Manufacturing View. The New Zealand Pet Food Manufacturers Association (NZPFMA), Superior Pet Food Co (previously known as Fond Foods), DTM Timber, and Bord Products all share the spotlight. NZPFMA supports over 150 full and associate members in New Zealand’s pet food industry. Superior Pet Food Co works with New Zealand pet owners to provide nutritious, high-grade, and cost-effective dog food products. DTM Timber has been a huge part of the timber and forestry industries in Australia since their founding in 1988. And Bord Products ties our issue together with their unique approach to Australian timber manufacturing.

That’s it from us for this time. Be well, stay safe, and as always… Enjoy the Read!
