Originally they were more specialized vehicles but now we are seeing more diesel and turbochargers in standard cars. MTQ continues to grow in the Mining & Transport sectors through an increase in exposure and range”.

Although the company is heavily invested into diesel & turbo, it offers additional services as well. For example, MTQ offers three different performance brands, Sonic Performance, Rapid, and DTS. Sonic Performance provides top quality performance parts from reputable brands for a number of applications including drifting, drag racing and more. Rapid and DTS, on the other hand, focus on diesel performance with chip upgrades, turbo kits and more. MTQ also offers a comprehensive Reman exchange program which comes with a 12-month, unlimited kilometers or hours, warranty.

“A strong element in the industry is finding the people that, we think, have the ability to progress in the organization and arranging training for them that can be industry-based or university-based giving them the tools and the ability to progress. Every job is advertised internally and we’ll often not go to the marketplace and instead promote one of our own people and offer them the opportunity”, says Les Healey, MTQ Engine Systems’ CEO.
