a non-government organisation, the
Public Health Association of Australia
(PHAA). Individuals from across the
spectrum of activities which comprise
the health sector are members of the
PHAA, and the association serves to
give them a forum to voice their views.
The PHAA publishes the Australian
and New Zealand Journal of Public
Health and organises conferences
which play an important role in
linking individuals and organisations
undertaking research in public
